Ladyhawke

Of course I had a hard time sleeping again last night - seems my insomnia has grabbed hold of me and refuses to let go... however, I was able to see a movie that I haven't seen in a LONG time - and a movie that I have always loved. "Ladyhawke" (check out this site) - with Rutger Hauer, Michelle Pfeiffer and Matthew Broderick. The story is awesome, the soundtrack was the only music I listened to for the longest time, and all of the actors are perfect in the roles. Here's a brief synopsis:

Philipe Gastone, a thief, escapes from the dungeon at Aquila, sparking a manhunt. He is nearly captured when Captain Navarre befriends him. Navarre has been hunted by the Bishop's men for two years, ever since he escaped with the Lady Isabeau who the Bishop has lusted after. Navarre and Isabeau have a curse that the Bishop has placed on them that causes Navarre to be a wolf during the night and Isabeau to be a hawk during the day. Navarre insists that Philipe help him re-enter the city to help him kill the heavily guarded Bishop. (source IMDB.com)

Mystical, magical, mahem and more - "Ladyhawke" is a movie I suggest for everyone looking for an exciting, action-filled romance. I dare you not to cry - I dare you.
