Flock

Using this really cool new browser called "Flock" - that is made by Mozilla (Firefox).  It has everything, I swear it's awesome.  I think I'll use this browser from now on - it makes things so much easier.  I'm actually using it to update this blog as we speak, lol.  It also allows you to log into Facebook (and it shows all your friends in a side panel, where you can share comments and pictures without going directly to their Facebook pages) - and you can be logged into your MySpace at the same time (where you can do the same thing with pics and comments, etc) - it really is great.

HERE is the link if you want to check it out.  It is free, and no, I'm not making any commission by telling you about it, lol.  Check it out - it's fun fun fun.  :)

The Gift - New Site

Worked in tandem with Nick & Nat (is it tandem when there's three?) - to put this site together... a gift from me to them for being so awesome while I was working on THEIR sites. A gift to them of a site for their short film "The Gift".

You can check out the site HERE.

I was lucky enough to be able to view the film in it's entirety - and I was extremely impressed by not only their acting ability, but the story (which Nat wrote) - and the direction (done by Nick). All in all it was a great film, and I'm honored to have been able to build the site for it.

Another site should be launching in the next few days for Joe. He came by today and we got a lot taken care of - it's pretty much just a matter of putting the pieces together, and then we'll launch. :)

I'm SO Happy

We finally launched Nick's site tonight - I swear I was tempted to hold him hostage until I had all the information that we needed to finish, but he was a good guy - so yeah, site's online! Check it out HERE...

This brought me down to three, but I'm doing something on my own for the two of them (N & N) because they've been so awesome to me these last few weeks... so total left = 4. Close to finishing 3 of those though, so no big deal. I love my job - and it's awesome when a site that's well done, by me and the subject, can be shared.

I feel like a proud mom, lol.

P.S. What the hell is up with MySpace???

Not Always a Day of Rest

Sometimes I get asked "what is your favorite day of the week?" And I usually answer that I don't really have one - days are pretty much all the same to me. That's the truth. Take today for example - when some people actually look at Sundays as a day of rest. Hmmmm... not me - I don't have that luxury - at least not this week.

Let me give you a little idea on how my day is going to go:

From the time I'm finished with this entry, until 1pm - I am going to be re-sizing photos and working on Nick's site.
From 1pm until ? - Nick and I are going to be finishing up his site, for a hopeful launch tonight. If not tonight, then definitely before the end of the week.
After Nick leaves I have to re-focus on Joe's site, and finish getting the videos converted and compressed, and then separated for their respective pages.

Obviously a busy day. And don't even ask me about tomorrow.

Procrastination

I'm debating whether I should go over to Jack in the Box and get something to eat, or just throw a pot pie in the microwave. I did buy groceries for a reason, lol - however, I'm really jonesing for a JitB chicken sandwich...

It's stuff like this that keeps me from doing what I'm supposed to be doing - and that's working on these (3) websites I have in pre-launch right now. It's a little overwhelming, definitely the first time I've had this much work going on at once - and that includes the times I've worked outside the house as well. I will get it done - but I'm hungry right now so...

I think I'll just have the pot pie. I don't feel like walking across the street right now...
